Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation announces the 2021 Racial Equity Now for Business Cohort and Racial Equity Now for Nonprofits Cohort
The Racial Equity Now Cohorts are designed to support and educate the business and nonprofit community through racial equity training and policy implementation. Each Cohort is designed to provide organizations with knowledge about racial equity and racial healing, case study presentations, policy review and development, and outcomes development.
Racial Equity Now for Business is targeted to for-profit organizations and provides learning opportunities for personnel at all levels of the organization with a requirement that cohort participants include an HR Executive, DEI Executive (if different from the HR Director) or Executive leadership supporting or interested in leading DEI, and an employee of color with an interest and/or leadership role supporting diversity, equity and inclusion for the organization.
In its second year, Racial Equity Now for Nonprofits will provide learning opportunities for personnel at all levels of the organization with a requirement that participants include a Board member (for at least ½ of the sessions), senior level decision-making staff member and direct service staff member.

Both cohorts will be selected through separate competitive application processes and asked to make a 9-month commitment to the program. Participants will attend a series of workshops and receive one-on-one racial equity coaching that supports developing and implementing racial equity policy.
